WPAG Club Dinner and Shoot -- March 13th 2010

Mark your calendar and make reservations for the
mid-winter dinner and shoot to be held at the Lakeside Ballroom, Pike Lake,
Hatley, WI on Saturday, March 13, 2010.
A social hour starts at 4:00pm with dinner at 6:00pm.
The dinner will consist of chicken and chicken gravy, ribs, real mashed potatoes, stuffing,
vegetable, coleslaw, home baked dinner
rolls, dessert, coffee and milk. The dinner will be served family style. The
cost is $13.25 per person which includes tax and tip. If you could bring exact
change or a check,
the night of the banquet, made payable to WPAG, that would be a
great help. Please reserve in advance, but bring payment to the banquet.

Open shooting starts after the dinner until 12 midnight
We have a permit to shoot class C and Class B material.
We will have 3", 4", 5", and 6" mortars available (Thanks John P.).
Only proven class B items should shot.
Rockets can only be of the Black Powder type.
The fishing shacks come off the ice on March 7, so we've got the lake all to ourselves. Lakeside Ballroom is directly on Pike Lake, so we'll have a nice "warming house", indoor bathrooms, a place to change clothes and a bar. Bring warm clothes and a chair to sit by the fire and watch. Plan to bring proven items only and rockets can only be of the Black Powder type. There are a lot of houses around the lake, so leave the experimental devices at home and save them for our first shoot in May. We can shoot until midnight, and the neighbors are friendly, so bring lots of stuff. We'll have treats later.
Directions to Lakeside Ballroom
Hwy 29 to Exit 185 Hatley (CTH Y). Turn South on Y and go
4.5 miles to the Pike Lake area. The Ballroom is located on the NE corner
of Y and Ballroom Lane. There is a bit "A" frame entrance.
