Get Involved!

Nominations open October 1, 2011 and run thru January 31, 2012

Our membership has grown in leaps and bounds and many club members have asked how they can become more involved.  There are several Board positions open for election and new blood is always welcome!

 

At the  May 2012 Spring elections we will vote for:

President

Secretary

Two (2) Directors
(currently held by Eric Hunkins and Greg Zimmerman)

Our new club bylaws, in Article IV Section 4, establish an open nomination period from October 1st to January 31st. Nominations are to be submitted via U.S. Mail to the Election Chair Person. The Election Chair Person for the 2012 elections is Deb Decker. Nominations may be submitted to Deb via email at Deb@UncleSamFireworks.com or mailed to Deb Decker at 2821 Bristol Mountain Trail, Green Bay, WI 54313.  All nominations must be submitted by the January 31, 2012 deadline.  If you have any questions about these position, please contact Larry Huber or Deb Decker

As a reminder, an individual may nominate themselves or someone else as a candidate for any office up for election. If you are nominating yourself, please indicate the specific office and if self-nominating for a Director position.

Because of the WPAG’s license under the BATFE as a fireworks manufacturer, all members running for any Office position on the Board of Directors must be able to meet the requirements for certification as a Responsible Person under current BATFE regulations.  The candidate must also be bondable.
